Division Recruitment is currently looking for an experienced Social Worker to work within Adult Social Services based in Bedford Borough Council

We are looking to recruit a Social Worker who will work with and provide services to adults with a Physical Disability with a range of care and support needs.

The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £35.08 per hour and has an initial 3-month contract.

Requirements of the Social Worker:

• The successful candidate will be skilled and motivated with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Work with individuals to create timely assessments, Support plan and asset based solutions, in a person centred and strength based way.
• Knowledge of the Care Act, Personalised Budgets and Carers Legislation is required.
• The candidate will need high levels of commitment to excellent service user care, good analytical skills and able to make evidence base decision.
• The ability to manage a caseload, develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and partners, as well as, the ability to travel around the Bedfordshire area.
• Degree or equivalent in social work
• Current Social Work England registration
• It is important that candidates have some experience working in Adult Services
